Interesting Writings for a Chilly Day

First off, the rather interesting news that Borders Australia is rather aggressively entering the e-reader and e-book markets, taking on Amazon Australia. I know Amazon might not think so, but such competition is good for it and will be good for e-books. And maybe help Borders from dying off, as well. Of course, my Aussie pals might disagree.

Second, an interview with the author of an interesting book of popular science. The fact that caught my eye? That the 50% divorce rate for the U.S. that we hear about so often in the press is incorrect and actually much lower. But the book sounds chock full of weird facts about marriages.
